As you all know, we got hit with a late winter storm. The Bakery and Bistro were without power so we have a few issues. We did save most of our products and ingredients. We monitored temps in our coolers and only lost foods from one. Unfortunately, it was all the Quiche and I don’t have the ingredients to get new out quickly. So, we’ll have new fresh quiche up for the next week. Lunch from the bakery for the rest of this week is soups and salads and our sandwich.

Also, we have a lot of tree fall down on the grounds so it looks pretty bad here. The drive is cleared so you can get in and out. But, please forgive the mess until the rest of this white stuff melts and we can get out there with a chain saw.

I hope all of you have a chance to enjoy the company of friends and family on Thursday. We will be closed for the holiday as well to visit with those dear to us. If you need some last minute rolls or croissants, I have them today. Come on by if you need a break from your own kitchen today.

You kept us so busy, we ran out of most things for our weekly menu. I’ve had to develop a whole new Special Saturday menu. I hope y’all like something on it.

We have some really cute Easter Cookies if you need a last minute treat.

We also have added a couple lunch items today only for Good Friday. We will have Salad Niçoise (the classic French Tuna and Green Bean Salad) and a lovely Glazed Salmon with Asparagus Spring Pea Orzo.
